Conn. lawmakers revisit medical marijuana issue

Proponents of legalizing medical marijuana in Connecticut, a perennial issue at the state Capitol, say this year’s version of the legislation addresses many of the concerns that have been voiced over the years. Erik Williams, executive director of the state chapter of the National Organization to Reform Marijuana Laws, said the latest bill is the best in the country right now. The legislation was scheduled for a public hearing on Wednesday before the General Assembly’s Judiciary Committee.
