Surgeon accused of disruptive behavior loses medical license

Behavior cited; appeal planned

A Springfield orthopedic surgeon who engaged in disruptive behavior in the operating room lost his license to practice medicine. The Board of Registration in Medicine revoked the license of Dr. Harvey Grant, 78, a surgeon at Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday. His attorney plans to appeal.
