Politicians of every size and stripe promised to help, but they never did. Now she faces foreclosure of her modest house in Milton.

Brian - this story touched me. Is there somewhere I can send a contribution to help Out Shirley?
So while the rest of us are reveling in the early spring weather, Ms. Simmons has just buried the son whose care has consumed her world. Now her world has crumbled. Is there somewhere that ordinary folks can send contributions to help?
I remember when this horrible shooting occurred and I braced for the city to explode - it didn't. Now I know why. I, too, would like to send some money to help Ms. Simmons out. Get on it, Brian.
add me to the list -- setting something up can't be hard. Just post it online and in tomorrow's paper. The bank should match donationa. if so or if not make sure to mention that too.
I'd like to add to the requests for a place to send donations to help Ms. Simmons. Do you know how much is needed to prevent the foreclosure process?

Please let us know where we can make a donation for this woman. She has suffered enough - let's lend a hand!
Is there somewhere to donate to this woman? I'd be interested.
We, as a society, have become selfish and disgraceful, we are resorting to the lowest possible level with respect to all debates about helping anyone!
Its in the last paragraph of the article.
The place for donations is in the last paragraph of the article.
Wow. three people asked. And this information is in the last paragraph of the article!
Thanks for a moving story and the inspiration to help out!
