Program helps adults with developmental disabilities

Believed to be the only leadership program for people with developmental disabilities in the country, a program for young adults with developmental disabilities founded nine years ago helps them build social skills and confidence. Called the Self-Advocacy Leadership Series, the classes have steadily expanded in recent years, and are now held six times a year.
