New Year celebration shows different side of Iran

As the Boston area’s roughly 11,000 Iranians celebrate the fresh start of a new year, many say fellow Americans are also taking a fresh look at their country and its people. One sign of changed attitudes, local Iranians said, is that they aren’t experiencing the anti-Iranian climate that often accompanies flare-ups in American-Iranian relations, like now, when the United States is in a stand-off with Iran over an alleged nuclear weapons program.
