Forecast calls for warm, dry, windy weather -- and a risk of brush fires
Warm, dry, and windy -- not too shabby for a New England spring, right? There’s only one problem -- a serious risk of brush fires. The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for critical fire conditions that will be in effect until 7 p.m. today for Southern New England. Today will be sunny with highs in the low 60s in Massachusetts. Winds will be from the northwest at about 15 to 25 miles per hour. There is also a slight chance of rain overnight.
