A reputed Mafia member from Connecticut who has been described as a person of interest in the Gardner Museum art heist is now facing charges that he stashed guns and silencers in his home. Robert V. Gentile, 75, was indicted last week on charges of being a previously convicted felon in possession of firearms that had traveled in interstate commerce, being a previously convicted felon in possession of ammunition that had traveled in interstate commerce, and unlawfully possessing silencers.
