Rare Revere print found in book at Brown

While flipping through a collection of old books, Brown University library preservationist Marie Malchodi found, among other things, handwritten notes and a paper cutout of two roosters. But when she got to the back cover of one book, she found a rare piece of history. Tucked inside the back cover of the 19th-century tome “The Modern Practice of Physics,’’ Malchodi found an engraved print by famed silversmith and revolutionary Paul Revere, according to the university.
