Malden High mourns a leader killed in accident

Hundreds gathered Sunday to mourn the loss of Paul Famiglietti, a charasmatic, beloved figure in the Malden school, whose steady guidance and ready smile were a pillar for the student body here. Famiglietti, who worked with students in the high school for nine years, was killed Saturday on Route 2 in Westminster when his motorcycle veered off of the roadway. While police have not determined the cause of the accident, family believe Famiglietti may have suffered a cardiac event.
