Man arrested on tunnel graffiti charges

Writing “hot sauce’’ may have landed one man in hot water after police saw him walking out of a tunnel on MBTA tracks along Huntington Avenue early Sunday morning. The man had black and white paint on his hands and told police that he “wrote one thing’’ in the tunnel, according to police. Alex Wan, 23, of Boston, was arrested for malicious defacing of property and standing, walking, or riding a vehicle on railroad property. In his backpack, Wan had four aerosol cans of spray paint, three paint markers, two permanent markers, and three bottles of shoe polish, Transit Police said.
