Woburn police honor guard help bury N.H. chief

This was a walk they knew too well. Dark uniforms marching in lockstep as far up and down the road as they could see. Civilians standing at attention on sidewalks. A law enforcement officer, felled by a bullet, waiting to be buried. The five members of the honor guard from Woburn Police Department’s traveled to this New England hamlet for the funeral of a neighboring town’s police chief. A year and four months ago, the Woburn officers had buried one of their own.
