10 bloody deaths in 10 days ‘unprecedented’; AG’s investigations into killings continue

Ten days of bloodshed in New Hampshire during the month of April has left residents on edge in a state that prides itself on its low homicide rate and considers violent crime the more common scourge of neighboring Massachusetts. The 10 violent deaths, which spanned the state geographically and occurred without discernible pattern, has set the state on course to exceed - possibly substantially - the number of murders in 2011.
