A group of Boston teenagers pushing for federal funding for summer jobs found their protests thwarted last week at the doorstep of Senator Scott Brown. Fresh from a Boston City Council hearing, the group of 20 to 30 kids was stopped at the entrance to the John F. Kennedy Building and told there was no available room big enough to meet with them. Two of Brown’s staffers briefly talked to them outside the building.
