A bone-crushing bodycheck in a high school hockey game was determined not to be a criminal act. That was the verdict that emerged Friday afternoon, after a Plymouth District Court clerk magistrate declined to issue criminal charges against the Scituate High School hockey player who delivered a hard hit hit to a Duxbury player during a game in January.

It wasn't a "body check." It was a hit to the head. If Way didn't intend for Hannon to get injured, why did he hit him in the head?
