State GOP’s caucus picks leave Romney slate slighted

Having all but locked up the Republican nomination for president, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney assembled a slate of delegates to support him at the Republican nominating convention in Tampa. But when Massachusetts Republicans went to their caucuses on Saturday, many didn’t vote for Mitt Romney’s picks. Less than half of Romney’s 27 chosen delegates won, and the losers included some notable Massachusetts Republicans - including former Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey and House Minority Leader Bradley H. Jones Jr.

Ron Paul is the only true American running for president. I'm glad Massachusetts real conservatives chose the true champion of the constitution. The mainstream media can try to blot him out, but Americans who care about the future of this country are stepping up. This is great news for the campaign for liberty. No way am I going to vote for mirak obamney. Veterans for Ron Paul 2012!

As a Veteran I'm not for this nut job who wants to bring us back to the 18th Century...So stop saying Veterans for this fringe candidate...

Understanding a candidates policies and world history are important, nut job is anyone who thinks our current path will lead to any good. I'm not telling you who to vote for, just letting you know that there are plenty of brothers who want to bring back the great republic they fight for, and defend teh constitution as is in our oath. By the way, what about sound money, individual liberties and a defense policy that focuses on defense of our country brings to mind the 18 century? I think you just dont have a good argument sir.

I love the comment below!!! How any veteran could even consider voting for this coward whose generational issue was the Vietnam war. This cowards response was to tour France....for 30 months and then enroll in college....thereby getting his 2S and avoiding the draft I served in Vietnam and feel that voting for this crud would not go well with the approx 55 thousand names on a Wall in D.C.

Vietnam was worth 55 thousand dead soldiers? Keep fighting then, because Vietnam really did this country a lot of good right? Now the Chinese are our bankers! And we went into Vietnam to stop their spreading influence. I owe it to my children to learn from war, not to repeat it. I'm glad you love my comment by the way. Veterans for Ron Paul 2012!

Sorry, but anyone who believes and follows the austrian school of economics thought process has to be considered a nut job. Ron Paul is a disciple of Ayn Rand and thus puts himself in that "nut case" group. P.S. what about Romney's 5 sons. Not one of them has seen fit to be part of the U.S. Military, must be beneath them or they must be too rich to serve..

Good point about romneys sons, I agree. But I want Ron paul, not Romney. Plus you live in a capitalist system, which the austrian school endorses, not socialism and welfare which both Romney and Obama want. True free capitalism works, but you cannot print money out of thin air and bail out every bank n the world while brazil india china, etc buy all gold diamonds and silver. If you can just print money to get out of debt that what exactly is te point of a bank, why don't we all just have little money machines. Last point,if Ron Paul is so out of touch and such a nut job, why are his crowds twice those of Obama and Romney's, plus why is he only candidate that actually beat Obama in the mot recent Rasmussen polls? Why is slowly gaining more delegates? Also, if no veteran likes this guy, the active duty boys sure do as he receives more money from active duty service members than all te other republican candidates(newt, santorum, Romney, perry, etc.) combined and double that ofobama!

Apparently the Republicans who know Governor Romney best are less than enamored of him. Their distaste is so pronounced that they would rather back a candidate who has no chance of winning than support a man who stands only for himself. It is a blessing to live in interesting times....

It is amazing how many people will cut off their nose to spite their face.
