25-year-old Jamaica Plain shooting victim identified by police

The 25-year-old man who was shot to death Friday evening on Hyde Park Avenue in Jamaica Plain has been identified, police said today. Mariano Malave, of Boston, was found around 6:30 p.m. inside 132 Hyde Park Ave., which is a short distance from the MBTA’s Forest Hills station. Malave was pronounced dead at the scene.
