Lois Craig, associate dean of MIT’s architecture school

When nominating Lois Craig for honorary membership in the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society of Architects credited her with “an unusually comprehensive contribution to our profession, to the art and science of architecture, and to the public.’’ Ms. Craig, a former director of the Federal Architecture Project at the National Endowment for the Arts, served in a variety of posts at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including as associate dean at the School of Architecture and Planning.
