Yeah, I guess its the "people's seat" and not necessarily those from MA...

elizabeth Warren went to a fund raiser in La La, I mean Hollywood.

and how much of Scott's funds during the special election in 2010 came from out of state versus in state? The answer as I recall from that election was that it was well over 50%. Scott still has an advantage in fundraising due to that prior election and contributions during the past 2 years he has been in DC, so that for an opponent to go outside the state to try and catch up is not surprising or an issue.

What's the point here, that Scott Brown is a secret Yankee fan?

Get rid of the 17th Amendment and much of this issue goes away.

New York City is huge and rich. That Brown has a lot of contributions from their is completely intuitive. That the Globe would run with this non-story is, alas, also completely intuitive.

Scotty-boy will stuff anybody's cash in his pockets...that's the real significance of that barncoat he wore...bigger pockets to hold all that out of state loot.

***That Brown has a lot of contributions from their(sic) is completely intuitive. That the Globe would run with this non-story is, alas, also completely intuitive*** Yes, we can also intuit that if this was about Elizabeth Warren instead of Scott Brown you wingnuts would be going berserk about her pocketing "all that out of state money".

Hmmmm! I wonder what all those rich people want from our Senator?

Well, Mr. Bojangles: have you checked Granny Warren's out of state contributions. Bet you some chardonnay and brie she gets lots of out of state money as well.

Where is Wall St.located? Nothing new here, just same old stuff. They don't call Brown "Wall St's favorite senator" for nothing. If you haven't noticed by now that Scott Brown is lighter than air, you're not paying attention.
