Cardinal, staff pitch in at urban parishes

Cardinal Sean P. O’Malley visited the St. Angela’s parish in Mattapan this morning to help kick off a week of service for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston’s pastoral center. For the second year in a row, employees of the archdiocese’s pastoral center volunteered one day this week to help improve parishes. This year it was St. Angela’s and St. Matthew’s parish in Dorchester. Last year, employees worked at St. Katharine Drexel in Roxbury.
