Driver charged in crash that killed 3 BU students

New Zealand accident killed 3 BU students

The 20-year-old American citizen who was driving a minivan that crashed, killing three Boston University students and injuring several others in New Zealand last week, will face charges, New Zealand police said. The man, whose name was not released, will appear in Auckland District Court in a few hours, police said in a statement. He is charged with three counts of careless driving causing death and four counts of careless driving causing injury.
