Middleton man in crash with police cruiser after Salem Walmart robbery

A Middleton man drove his vehicle into a police cruiser after he allegedly robbed the Salem Walmart Saturday afternoon around 3:40 p.m., according to Salem police. Michael Burke, 40, allegedly fled Walmart in a Dodge Dakota truck, carrying more than $700 in stolen cash, according to Lieutenant Mary Butler of the Salem police.
