Candidates wary as opposition cameras roll

The Haverhill VFW Post was friendly territory for Senator Scott Brown, a National Guardsman himself. Yet in the midst of his remarks to veterans this month, he stopped abruptly, distracted by a video camera in the crowd.

They can track all they want. Voters in Massachusetts are sick of the phoney Dem spin. GO, SCOTT, GO!!!

The mindset of "Gotcha" politics at its low water mark. A lot of this could be contained by changing campaign finance laws, and finding a way to avoid channeling billions of dollars into the pockets of television station owners every election cycle. At this point, the person who tythes the most to the media moguls is in a better position to win. So are the elected positions in the country, in fact, owned by the television owners??

So, Scott is afraid of bbeing filmed, recordad or questioned. About right for a worm, but not a senator. Scotty, you do know that the people only put you in for two years till we found a decent replacement, right? Does lapdog eric let you ever read the paper anymore?

"salemreader" "recordad"..........really? Yikes!!

Yes, these sure are the golden days for our democracy, huh?

Poor Scotty. What happened to our robust manly man with the pickup truck and barn coat , the former nude mode? Now he's a Nancy Boy when he sees a video camera ? Where was his little protection puppy Eric? So much for our man of character.

How did dismissing Senator Brown work for Ms Coakley? Watch John Walsh and staff use the Boston Globe to trial balloon some alternatives at this late date.

I am increasingly reminded of the works of James Thurber. Many were written about 75 years ago but still ring true today.
