Though Saturday will be a beautiful day, the rest of the long holiday weekend will be a mixture of rain and clouds, with a chance of sunshine, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a chance of light scattered showers today as clouds dominate the area. Highs will be in the low to mid-70s.
Skies will be mostly clear Saturday, as temperatures rise to the upper 80s, forecasters said.
Sunday will be in the upper 70s as a cold front passes to the south, the weather service said. Clouds will move into the area in the early morning and may produce a few sprinkles throughout the day.
On Monday, skies are expected to be partly sunny. Temperatures will be around 80 in Western Massachusetts. Closer to the coast, temperatures will be in the lower 70s. There is a chance of thunderstorms in the evening.
Temperatures next week are expected to remain in the 70s. Skies so far are expected to be a mixture of sun and clouds, similar to this week.
