Police are investigating a shooting that caused a driver to crash his vehicle and landed him in the hospital. Officers responded to a report of the shooting just before 8 p.m. Tuesday. When investigators arrived, they found a sport utility vehicle that had hit a tree. Officers said the driver’s side window had been shot out. The driver — Kevin Carey, 25 — told WCVB-TV that he did not hear anything, but felt glass shattering into his face. He says another driver stopped and pulled him from his vehicle. He was treated at a hospital for a concussion, as well as arm, back, and neck injuries. Police sid they found two projectiles in his vehicle. Police searched the area with dogs, but could not find any suspects.
