At convention, Warren aims to allay doubt, revive fervor

Massachusetts Democrats will gather in Springfield at a state party convention Saturday, with US Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren seeking to recapture the fervent enthusiasm that marked the early days of her campaign, and lock up the endorsement that would free her of a party primary.

With much at stake in a race that could be critical to control of the US Senate , a solid majority of the more than 3,000 delegates are expected to give Warren the party’s official backing in her bid to unseat Republican incumbent Scott Brown.

Revive fervor. What fervor? Are you talking about handpicked press being invited to the private events at private estates of DNC handpicked hosts to hear the prsident's handpicked candidate speak in a protected environment. Once the public started hearing her the fervor never followed. She stumbles when asked questions, she made money off of foreclosed homes and then claims credit for OWS. Take a poll outside of Wellesely and Cambridge and you'll see Brown is way out front. Of course the real issue is the DNC trying to keep someone else off the ballot so the unions don't have to spend their money on a primary. Democratic party indeed.

Warren has to get her act together! She appears overwrought and distressed compared to Brown who appears calm and confident. This election may be over before it begins. Tom Conroy would have been a much stronger candidate.

Just look at the voting record. Get the congress app to follow the votes. Brown tries to look like he is with us but he has consistently voted against our interests. He voted at least twice to double the interest rate on college loans, he voted against the jobs bills, he added watered down language to a wall st accountability bill. Elizabeth Warren is the best candidate that we have ever had from MA. She was voted best teacher at Harvard Law School twice! She needs our hard work and votes to get to congress. I believe that once she is there she will be one of the best members of congress. When she decided to fight the big banks by lobbying for the consumer financial protection agency, everyone told her she was crazy and would never be able to do it. But, she fought hard and spoke to the right people and was able to do it. We need Elizabeth because shes going to vote for our interests and not the interests of oil companies and big banks.
