Four stabbed in downtown Boston

Four people were stabbed in a busy section of downtown Boston today, including one person who suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. Superintendent Bruce Holloway said the stabbings at the intersection of Beacon and Tremont streets — near 1 Beacon St. and the Omni Parker House hotel — at about 1:45 p.m. came during an altercation over a court case pending in the Suffolk Superior courthouse.
