Suffolk Superior Court Judge Linda Giles abruptly ordered a halt to a murder trial today after being told that two witnesses were among the people who were stabbed in downtown Boston Wednesday afternoon. Giles said from the bench that she was not concerned that media coverage of Wednesday’s stabbing -- which sent a total of four people to the hospital -- would impair her ability to choose an impartial jury.
