Police say a 49-year-old man is dead after the car he was riding in crashed head-on into a dump truck in West Warwick. Michael Ferrick of West Warwick was killed in the crash Friday afternoon, police said. The driver, 57-year-old Edwin Montgomery, was in critical condition Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital, police said. The driver of the dump truck, Henry Beausoleil of Warwick, was unhurt. Police say they are investigating the accident.
