Two Revere men are facing charges in the spray-painting of walls at the William G. Reinstein Bandstand at Revere Beach, State Police said. Jorge Maldonado, 22, and Mark Church, 21, were charged in Chelsea District Court Friday with tagging property and willful and malicious destruction of public property over $250. State Police said. Early Friday morning, Department of Conservation and Recreation workers near Doris Park on Revere Beach Boulevard happened upon two young men, allegedly Maldonado and Church, who were photographing two walls they had just spray-painted. State Police stopped and questioned Maldonado and Church, both of whom had paint on their hands and cans of spray paint in their backpacks, officials said. Troopers also recovered empty cans of spray paint from a trash bin near the walls.
