The Richville Chapel in Standish was heavily damaged by fire Thursday. The blaze was reported around 1 p.m. The chapel is about 2 miles from two of five suspicious fires that took place in Gorham this spring. Authorities suspect they were arson. Town records show the 1,500-square-foot chapel is owned by the United Baptist Church. It was built in 1930 and is now used for funerals, weddings, and other functions.
