Trove of evidence offers deeper look into Bulger case

A shelf of books in the apartment James “Whitey” Bulger shared with Catherine Greig was full of books about gangsters and crime, something federal prosecutors say Bulger specialized in himself. The books included such titles as “American Mafia” and “G-Men and Gangsters.” A photograph of the bookshelf was among more than 500 pages of evidence in the case against Greig that were released by federal prosecutors today. The evidence provides a window into Greig and Bulger’s life on the run.
