Lieutenant Governor Timothy P. Murray was questioned under oath last week by state and federal investigators looking into the Chelsea Housing Authority scandal, amid an active grand jury probe into potentially criminal fundraising for Murray by the disgraced former head of the agency, Michael E. McLaughlin. The rare questioning of one of the state’s top elected officials took place in an office rather than a courthouse, allowing Murray to avoid an appearance before a grand jury like other witnesses.

Glibness and superficial charm; Manipulative and conning; Grandiose sense of self; Pathological Lying; Lack of remorse = Sociopath = many of MA corrupt politicians including these two.
There is not a person in this state with an iota of political knowledge that is not aware of Michael McLaughlin's political wheeling and dealing for the past thirty years! Lie with dogs and you pick up fleas. Baby-faced Murray has picked up more than fleas.
These are symptoms of a 1-party state. Democratic Lt Governor naturally protected by his democratic boss who knows he has a lot of leeway since the legislature is overwhelmingly democratic, and the democratic attorney general will only halfheartedly pursue this, and the main newspaper in town is borderline communist and will bend over backward to protect Deval and his organization. When will this state learn, unless you have some semblance of a balance of power we will continue to have house speakers in jail, John O'Brien types running their department of probation empires, Michael E. McLaughlin collecting mid-6 figure salaries, having affairs with their secretaries on company trips, all while barely working. It's disgusting. Yet every election we send them all back to office. We in Massachusetts deserve what we get.
