Girl saved after almost going over waterfall

Authorities said a 12-year-old girl is safe after falling into a river and getting swept to the top of a 15-foot waterfall in Albany, N.H. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department said the girl, who is from Milford, was at Swift River on Monday when she slipped off a rock and was swept about 150 feet downriver to the top of Lower Falls. She grabbed onto a rock and held on long enough for a bystander, James Barnhouse of Dover, Ohio, to reach her.
