State trooper driving incident analyzed

Officer placed on restricted duty

State Police are investigating a trooper who allegedly drove the wrong way on Memorial Drive in Cambridge on April 3 and the handling of the incident by state troopers who had responded.

David Procopio, a State Police spokesman, said in a statement that Trooper Adam Paicos was placed on restricted duty last week because of the internal inves­tigation. Paicos could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
