Wardens recover body of swimmer in lake

CHINA, Maine — The Maine Warden Service has recovered the body of a 43-year-old man who went missing while swimming in a central Maine lake. Officials say Tye Feihel of China was recovered from China Lake at noon Tuesday. Feihel was last seen when he went for a swim at about 3 p.m. Monday. Officials say Feihel, who had autism and schizophrenia, routinely started his swim at his residence and followed the shoreline before ending at a landing at the Lakeside Country Store, where his mother would pick him up. Monday was Feihel’s first swim of the year, and he never made it to the store.
