A Wrentham man is slated for arraignment today in Dedham District Court in the hit-and-run accident that seriously injured a 26-year-old woman in Westwood on Monday night, prosecutors said.

Donald A. Gentile is accused in the accident that injured Jillian Belanger. Belanger was walking in the 400 block of Washington Street when a car traveling in the southbound lane struck her shortly before 9 p.m. Monday.

Westwood police said that the car likely sustained front end damage and had a broken headlight assembly. Investigators determined the vehicle was a mid-sized white or light-colored four-door sedan with a moon roof.

The Norfolk County district attorney’s office released surveillance camera video and stills of the car.
