Brown ads target female voters with Gail Huff

BOSTON (AP) — After being forced to sit out of the 2010 US Senate campaign, former Boston-area television reporter Gail Huff is back on the Massachusetts airwaves, this time to support her husband, Sen. Scott Brown, in his re-election bid.

In a series of ads rolled out in early June, Huff speaks about her relationship and family life with Brown, who is campaigning against Democrat Elizabeth Warren to keep his seat.

Hummm lets see Gail has a job in Washington D.C. Scotty boy has a job in Washington D.C., Scotty boy pulled some strings and now has his national guard assignment in Washington D.C. So where do they live, seems to me they are Washington insiders and not Massachusetts residents.. just sayin

The ads are so bad that they're embarrassing. There's nothing wrong with being a stay-at-home dad, unless you're supposed to be doing your job in the legislature or Congress. And I don't get how making your kids' breakfast qualifies you to be a Senator. On the other hand, if you let your kids starve that wouldn't exactly go over well.

I agree with who cares. How does anyone run an ad that basically says the candidate is a decent to good parent? How is that not baseline and expected? Ms Huff and Senator Brown want a merit badge because they cared for their two children, all the while making salaries that most Americans can only imagine. If Senator Brown's point is that he is not a neglectful parent, so stipulated. I'm sorry, but whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, how can you characterize this ploy as anything but demeaning to the intelligence of the average voter? What's next? I didn't cheat on my taxes. Elect me Representative!
