A woman died and another person was injured in a two-car crash in Canton early Sunday, authorities said. Sara Escudero of Stoughton died after the collision at 230 Turnpike St. around 5:45 a.m., said Peggie Krippendorf, a spokeswoman for the Norfolk district attorney’s office. A person in the other vehicle was transported to Boston Medical Center with injuries, said Krippendorf, but information on the severity of the injuries was not immediately available. The crash was under investigation.
