Holder Jr. was in South Boston Tuesday to deliver the keynote address in a day-long symposium titled ‘Protecting Civil Rights.’ Holder, who faces a contempt of Congress vote on Thursday, said his office has vigorously cracked down on hate crimes, discriminatory practices and other civil rights violations.
