Police said two more people have been arrested in the death of a man whose body was found in a St. Albans pool in April. Five people are now charged in the case.

Police said the victim, Christopher Davis, 22, of Swanton, was lured to the area of the city swimming pool by Travis Bugbee and Brian Ross, both 23, of St. Albans, and that there he was beaten and robbed. Bugbee and Ross face charges that include assault and robbery.

Another man, Joshua Fortine, 29, of St. Albans was charged with possessing items stolen from Davis.

On Thursday, police arrested Stephen Wells, 36, of St. Albans, who allegedly used Davis’s stolen bank card, which he purchased from Fortine. Ann Wells, 53, of Milton, also was arrested for allegedly purchasing the stolen card through her son and Fortine.
