Vermont State Police said a 10-year-old boy was killed in a lawn mower accident in Benson on Friday afternoon. The boy was mowing a field for a family friend when he lost control of the machine, which overturned, trapping him underneath. Rescue workers tried to revive the child, who was taken to Rutland Regional Medical Center. Police are investigating. The boy’s name was not released. (AP)
