Tall ships provide a taste of War of 1812

It was not a battle. At least not officially.

The reason the tall ships Lynx and Pride of Baltimore II were firing cannon shots at each other Sunday afternoon in Boston Harbor was, technically, an exercise. “A way to introduce the general public to what it may have been like during the War of 1812,” said the Pride’s captain, Jamie Trost.

Should have fact checked this with your photographer. The last shot of the Pride of Baltimore was a blast to the stern of the Lynx. Now let us revisit the who won debate. :)

We saw this - well, we actually heard it first...it was cool to watch from the shore, too.

Could you imagine the fun if you could fire paint balls from those cannon?
