A Suffolk University student died Friday after apparently jumping from a university building, officials said. Willie Carlton Sellers of Atlanta, was pursuing a law degree, as well as a master’s degree in business administration, Suffolk University president James McCarthy said in a statement Friday night. Police are investigating whether the death was a suicide, McCarthy said. Boston police responded to reports of a male in his early 20s jumping from a building near 1 Ashburton Place about 3:52 p.m., said Officer James Kenneally. No additional details were available Friday.
