Man dies after being pulled from Nashua, N.H., pond


Authorities say a swimmer died after being pulled from a Nashua pond Saturday afternoon. Investigators said two men were swimming in Sandy Pond when one of them got into trouble. WMUR-TV reported that a police officer and several bystanders jumped in to help. The Fire Department said the swimmer was suffering from cardiac arrest when he was pulled from the water. The man’s identify was being withheld pending notification of family members.
