In a ceremony officiated by the governor of Massachusetts, US Representative Barney Frank and his longtime partner, Jim Ready, were married Saturday.
“As you might imagine, at the request of the congressman, this service will be short and to the point,” said Governor Deval Patrick.

Oh, what a lovely couple...of....
So dating someone five years qualifies as 'longtime' now? Maybe that's the case in this day and age. Or maybe that's the case when there's a 30-year age difference between them. Criminy! And my apologies for being so negative this early on a Sunday morning.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Isn't Barney robbing the cradle here...
Congratulations to the happy couple. However, until and unless DOMA is repealed, they will not be legally covered by Federal laws regarding income tax, Social Security benefits, veterans' benefits, health insurance, Medicaid, hospital visitation, estate taxes, retirement savings, pensions, family leave, and immigration law. If Barney wants to to accomplish anything during this final phase of his career in Congress, let's hope he can work to throw out DOMA and replace it with a law guaranteeing full legal rights under a civil union.
But will he still love Barney when he's 82? Ready's kinda young for a nursing home.
Is this all you homophobic lunkheads have got? The age difference? Give up.
