A car fire on the Massachusetts Turnpike this morning closed two lanes of traffic, police said.

The vehicle caught fire on the westbound side of the Pike just before 11 a.m., near Exit 10 in Auburn, Trooper Thomas Murphy, a State Police spokesman, said.

Murphy said no injuries were reported.

No further information was immediately available.
