The Leominster police chief is seeking the dismissal of a police officer officer who allegedly directed a racial epithet at Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford this month during a minor-league game in New Hampshire, according to a media report. Robert Healey, the interim police chief, is seeking the action against the officer, John A. Perreault, whom the chief says violated department rules about comments to the public, the Fitchburg Sentinel and Enterprise reports on its website.
