Participants in the Color Run New England, a 5-kilometer charity race in which runners are periodically doused with colored dust, crawled through part of the course in Amesbury. The race drew an estimated 6,000 participants and benefited Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit that helps build housing for disabled veterans.
