Runners near the final stretch of The Color Run New England, a 5k charity race where participants are periodically doused with colored dust by volunteers. The race, held in Amesbury, drew an estimated 6,000 participants and benefitted Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit that helps build homes for disabled veterans.
