Boston gets aggressive about Fenway rat infestation

Reports came in to the Inspectional Services Department over a couple of weeks: Packs of rats were scurrying in and out of an alley behind a block of Hemenway Street row houses.

Wednesday night, John Meaney went to investigate.

Are the urban rats protected like the suburban coyotes and coastal seagulls? Call the SPCA if they aren't!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHat do they mean serving an Abatement? An abatement means the city refunds property tax paid. Lazy reporting or spell checker overdose.
